Week 2 - Tiago Delgado
Design Document
This week we're creating a Design Document detailing the game's core experience and target audience.
Each member started by individually defining their idea of the game's experience goals and later converging to create a succinct list of the most important core goals.
Later we divided into two teams to work on researching competition and the game's domain of inspiration. Myself and David each performed our own research of turn-based combat games as well as cooperative games, which were condensed in the document, detailing each game's strengths and weaknesses and what we learned from them.
Having revised personas created by the rest of the team, I wrote one of four play scenarios describing potential experiences of playing Deuce's Silent Tower. Presently we will revise all the scenarios and define the game's core gameplay loop.
