Week 8 - David Pereira - Unity Prototypes


Unity Prototypes

This week, the group focused on creating a functional Unity Prototype, to test how the players would interact with the game and to gather feedback and fine-tune what we have so far. Each group member is responsible for a certain aspect of the Prototype. I was tasked with creating the Menu’s UI and adding some functionality to it. I drew heavily from the UI Paper Prototypes that had been created before, and feedback from the Focus Group was also taken into consideration. I started by creating a tentative color scheme that would then be used to create all of the menus. Afterward, each Menu was designed, and buttons were added to allow for navigation between Screens. The results can be seen below (some art created by our incredible artists was also included!).

We will continue to work on integrating all parts and collecting feedback from players.
