Week 10 - Daniel Correia


This week I focused mostly on fixing bugs and improving some of the simple aspects of the game that the testers said could be improved, such as:

  • Having a text over the entities describing what they are doing.
  • Limit the camera controls (zoom and movement).
  • Making the combat logger scrollable with the mouse wheel.
  • Easier way to de-select an ability currently choosing, by clicking on the same ability currently selected.
  • Showing who will be the first player moving and activating an action in the current round, by having an pointer on top of him.
  • When 2 players move to the same position, cancelling the ability wasn’t obvious so I visually simulated both moving to the same position and then returning to their original positions.

Now we will focus on the specifying the progression of the game.
